CAF Series 20 & 45 Tons

Outstanding Features: The HSD Series features a fully stress relieved cast iron frame, with hydraulically pre-stressed tie rods, providing excellent rigidity and vibration-damping effects for high speed stamping. Hydraulic slide adjustment lock removes all clearances in the slide adjustment mechanism to increase accuracy and reduce the effects of snap-through. The pneumatically powered slide adjustment stops automatically at upper and lower limits of adjustment, and a hydraulic unsticking device frees tooling jams in seconds. The HSD’s standard dynamic balancing system assures smooth operation and longer die life by offsetting the inertia forces of the slide and die. Applications The HSD Series is ideal for precision high speed blanking and shallow forming with progressive dies, such as laminated rotors and stators for electric motors. CAF Series Also available is the high speed, C-frame CAF Series in capacities of 20 and 45 tons.  Presses feature high tensile cast iron frames and speeds up to 400 SPM.
