Hydrocut High Rail

High-Rail Hydrocut is the first gantry-style waterjet cutting machine to combine the versatility of waterjet with ESAB's advanced gantry technology. ESAB's leading tradition in development of oxyfuel, plasma, and laser cutting systems brings a new perspective to waterjet cutting. The result is innovative features such as linear rails, enclosed ball screws, complete process automation through the VisionTM CNC, and the option to combine waterjet with plasma cutting on the same machine. A rugged high-rail design offers easy loading/unloading access, and keeps all mechanical equipment away from debris. Ball screws, digital AC drive amplifiers, Brushless AC motors, and a direct driven ball screw nut combine to provide a machine that is as accurate as it is sturdy, yielding positioning accuracy within      +/-.005 inches (.127 mm), and repeatability of +/-.001 inches (.025 mm).
