The CNC880 is a PC based 2-D graphical control that can dramatically increase your productivity and reduce set-up time. The 10" color T.F.T. display shows a profile of the pressbrake tooling and the workpiece as each bend is being formed throughout the entire operation. The CNC880 supports a comprehensive tool library that allows the operator to visually select a tool by simply scrolling through a list of color drawings.

Workpieces and tooling can be programmed using 2-D graphics at the CNC880 control or on a PC in the office utilizing our offline software package. Offline software is included, at no extra charge, in the standard purchase price of the system. Once programmed, the bending sequence can be simulated to check for interferences. The sequence can be modified if the proposed sequence is not feasible, thereby eliminating costly errors and scrap at the pressbrake. When the simulation is correct, the dimensions are automatically translated into the optimal bending sequence.

The intelligent CNC880 factors in many parameters that determine the correct dimensions to move the backgauge as well as pressbrake ram. Tensile strength, material type, thickness, and width of the workpiece are just a few of the factors the control uses to determine accurate positioning.

Up to 5-digit numeric part numbers can be used to identify and store up to 90,000 jobs. Jobs can be saved on a 3 1/2" floppy so that they may be transferred between the control and an offline computer, or from control to control.

Special Features:
Simple Numerical Mode - Although the CNC880 has many sophisticated features, simple jobs can be programmed by entering backgauge and ram depths directly in inches or millimeters. This simple method makes the CNC880 convenient for users who want to shortcut the graphic capabilities of the system for simple jobs.

Bump Forming Software - By programming the radius desired and material parameters the CNC880 will automatically calculate and program the correct dimensions for each backgauge axis.

Languages - CNC880 can be programmed in 16 languages: French, German, English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Hungarian, Polish, Czech, Slovene, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Taiwanese.

Backgauge Pinch Point Reversal - The backgauge can be programmed to retract once the material is contacted to provide clearance for down hanging reverse bends.

A large simple keyboard with tactile-feel keys for easy data entry even when using protective gloves. 5 theme keys and international symbols translate to a user friendly programming format complete with user prompts and error codes.
